The theme park capital of the world, and the trip most families save for. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando sit twenty minutes apart, and the difference between a magical week and an exhausting one is almost entirely down to planning.
Three ways to do Orlando. Your shortlist is built against your dates, your party and current guest reports.
Early park entry, transport included, and the easiest option with young children
Unlimited Express Pass for most rides is included at certain hotels — it can be worth more than the room costs
Considerably better value for larger families, particularly with a rental car
Transfer, check in, groceries, and an early night before the parks.
Rope drop, a break back at the hotel in the afternoon, evening return for fireworks.
Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe, with Express Pass if your hotel includes it.
Yes. Jamaican passport holders need a valid US visitor visa (B1/B2) to enter the United States. If you already hold one, we can plan around its validity. If you don’t, apply early — the interview wait can run to months, and it is the one part of the trip we cannot arrange for you.
Five nights is the practical minimum for one resort. Seven to ten if you want both Disney and Universal without a forced march. We always build in at least one rest day.
Disney for younger children and the classic experience; Universal for older children, teenagers and thrill rides. Many families do both, and we’ll tell you how to split the days.
On-property brings early entry and included transport, which matters enormously with small children. Off-property villas offer far better value for larger families. We cost both.
