Is it safe?
The city has changed enormously, and the neighbourhoods travellers stay in are well used to visitors. We’ll brief you on where to be and the same sensible precautions any city asks for.
How do we get there?
Usually via Bogotá or Panama City. José María Córdova (MDE) is around 45 minutes outside the city — the transfer is arranged with your booking.
How long should we stay?
Four nights covers the city and Guatapé comfortably. A week suits it if you add the coffee region.
